Pseudo with MP4? (2 posts)

Love the plugin, but I'm a bit confused. I know there is pseudo-streaming support for mp4 these days – I've used other plugins where I could do it - but I'm having trouble getting it to work with Stream.

If I set the provider to Video, my mp4 plays fine. If I use an flv, it plays fine as http. But if I try to have an http provider and an mp4, I get an error that the file isn't found. Both the streamer and the file are on the same domain.

Is it possible to get this to work with mp4? I much prefer the compression, and would prefer not to have two versions, since the videos I'm dealing with are very large.

    Thanks so much!

according to the author, pseudo streaming was designed to use FLV. I'm trying to locate a decent flv encoder as the one included puts my files in a less than desired format.

OBTW, I have tried all sorts of crazy ideas to get the pseudo to work. Even gave the "everyone, IUSR, & IUSR group" full control over the entire website, ntfs permissions & even created a admin account to run as the anonymous login.. nothing worked for me. I tried breaking down the streamer.php file but its all greek to me.
