# Plugin stops working when there’s an update?

 * Why does the form stop forwarding admin submissions every time there’s an update
   available? It resumes again as soon as update is done.
 * Is this really how it works? If so, I’d like to get an email every time there’s
   an update available so I can update asap and not have submissions go missing.
 * Any thoughts?

 * This is not really the case per say. It is likely it has stopped working because
   something has changed with your website or server. A recent update to WordPress(
   4.6) broke the actual email function within WordPress for several website hosts.
   WordPress fixed it with 4.6.1, it is possible these two things happened for you
   at the same time, by chance.
