On latest WP upgrade, started getting

    load-scripts.php?c=1&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-position,heartbeat,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-tooltip&ver=a0d6209500ed92d3cf85f6447dee58cd:4 POST http://www.eriksuniverse.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error)

    Disabling BackupWordpress resolves it.

I’ve had the plugin installed for long time. So this is first time it became an issue.

.htaccess is not corrupt, and PHP gets 128M memory.

Is there a way to see details of the cause of the error?

Resolved by increasing PHP memory from 128M to 164M. Not the plug-ins fault. But, it does seem to use a lot of memory during backup. Backup size currently around 260M.
