  • I seem to be having problems connecting via our SFTP server (which is separate from the webserver). If I go in and poke around, I can see that cwd() gets called, but doesn’t get anything back from run_command(‘pwd’). I think the issue is that the initial connection is very slow and it’s timing out (it’s connecting via SFTP through a separate host that’s mapping to Samba shares on the web directory – we’ve observed that the inital connection is slow, but after that is fine.). Any thoughts, advice on where to look at the timeout?

    Thanks.

  • As a follow up: if I use the phpseclib directly, I have no problems connecting, getting or changing the working directory, creating directories, etc. Though I haven’t tried it as a web page yet.

I’ve updated the core phpseclib files that the plugin uses although I’m not sure if that’d help.

If the initial connection is naturally slow it’s naturally slow. Can’t imagine why using phpseclib directly as opposed to through the plugin would make a difference..

You can find the updated code in the latest SVN.
