# [Plugin: Special Recent Posts] Change Background Colour

 * Hi,
 * I assume this is a simple question but i cant seem to figure it out :/
 * How do i change the background colour using the shortcode?
 * I have tried to edit the css files but to no avail.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 * There isn’t a direct option in the shortcode. Yet you have to edit the css file
   at special-recent-posts/css/css-front.css
    There you’ll find the “srp-container”
   selector. Just add the following rule: “background-color: thecoloryouwant;”
