    Hi Kreg,

Congratulations on creating such a superb plugin – really useful and easy to use. A question…

When using the Facebook, or Twitter, share buttons after using the widget am I right in saying that whatever website page the user happened to be on will be the one that’s shared. (The widget is in the sidebar and gets displayed throughout the site.)

I would like to specify a particular page for sharing (related to the petition cause), regardless of where the user signed it from. I think i just need to modify a couple of lines in widget.php to set the permalink in concrete, possibly changing “#” to the actual URL under <div class=”dk-speakup-widget-share”> but thought i’d check with you first. 🙂

As a thought this might be worth adding as an option in the widget config in a future release? (Share page: current or specific?)

    Thanks,

    Mick.

    Hi Kreg,

No need to get back on this one – cracked it (widget.js)
As i’m only running one petition I made the permalink and posttitle variables permanent.

    Cheers,

    Mick.

That sounds right on the Facebook URL. I like what you did with getting the checkboxes to work!

I noticed on your sidebar widget that the title is being pushed down. You probably have a top margin set on h3 tags. If you add margin: 0; to the .dk-speakup-widget-wrap h3 selector in widget.css it should pull that title back up to the top of your widget.

Tx for spotting that one – sorted 🙂
