[resolved] HTML5 iframe fails validation (3 posts)

    Upon validating for HTML5 using W3's Validator service, I'm getting the following error message: "The scrolling attribute on the iframe element is obsolete. Use CSS instead."
    In case I'm doing something wrong, here is the page in question: http://www.brnaterweb.com/staging/catalystrecording/clients.
    If you visit the link, please remember I am still fixing optimizing cross-compatibility, so on some browsers it may look jumbled due to the CSS framework being used.

    The scrolling attribute came from soundcloud. I could remove it but and use overflow hidden. I have to test.

    For now, if you need to remove this attr:
    -Open soundcloud-is-gold-function.php in the plugin folder.
    -Find line 624 (starts with $player .= '<iframe ).
    -Delete scrolling="no"
    -If a scroll bar appears after this change try to add css="overflow=hidden" but you might know your css already :)

    (frameborder = "no") also fails using W3's Validator service.

    value of attribute "frameborder" cannot be "no"; must be one of "1", "0"
    scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="http://w.soundcloud.com/player/?u…

    The value of the attribute is defined to be one of a list of possible values but in the document it contained something that is not allowed for that type of attribute. For instance, the “selected” attribute must be either minimized as “selected” or spelled out in full as “selected="selected"”; a value like “selected="true"” is not allowed.
