Support » Plugins and Hacks » Socialize » [Plugin: Socialize] Share button hit count disappear
5 years, 7 months ago
The hit count ( twitter and fbshare ) disappeared since I switched to use w3 total cache with CDN.
Is there any conflict between the 2 plugin, or is there any special attention/ setting that I have missed?
I’m having the same problem, John.
This is odd. Upgrade to the latest version and let me know if this is still happening.
I’ll look around to see if this could be anything else on my end tho. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
After upgrading to the newer version, not even the hit count but the twitter and facebook button disappeared too, i.e all not shown in the page and post.
For the original problem that i post about the missing hit counts, I guess it was about the change of links to fancy link that W3 cache force me to…… only I guess and i had no clue.
I didn’t disable W3 cache and tested again owing to this circumstance.
And other other plugin-in that I’m using, they were:
Akismet, MapPress easy google maps, Shadowbox JS and WordPress.com Stats.
For the theme, I’m using Graphpaperpress’s modularity.
Thanks Jon and alecsatin for the reply, I really don’t know what went wrong and I need help 🙂
This is a problem when upgrading to the latest release. Not everyone had this problem but it did pop up. I’m going to make some changes that should fix this however in the meantime, follow the directions at the bottom of this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-socialize-alert-box-social-buttons-disappeared-box-is-still-there?replies=8#post-2078522
