[Plugin: Social Media Widget] Transparency of icons not working

    This plugin is great and i am usibg it for a while on my band’s wordpress site without any problems.

    Now i am working on http://websimon.de/cms on my first own wordpress theme and the social media icons have some sort of border around them, not displaying the png’s alpha correctly.

    However the opcaity from the plugin’s effects settings are all fine.

    I doubt it is the plugin, but it’s probably my theme causing the problems.

    Please someone can give me some hint what to look for… ?

    Me stupid 😉

    I had an img tag in my css with background color set to #ccc

    which caused the problem. Removed it and i am happy 😉
