    Hi Helen,

    You can add a ‘sociable-custom.css’ file to the sociable directory. The file won’t get overwritten during upgrades, and you can use it to override the default CSS settings.

    To change the left/right spacing from 2px to 10px, try something like:

    .sociable-img {
    padding: 0 10px 0 10px !important;
    }

    I hope that helps!

    Hey “tompokress”!

    I have a similar question about custom CSS. I am trying to make a space/margin/padding right below the “span.sociable-tagline” in order to give some more breathing room for the icons, but I can’t seem to get it to work. How do I do this properly?

    Thanks!

    P.S. I read in the online instructions here (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sociable-30/faq/) that is says to create a file called ‘sociable_custom.css‘. But in the software itself it says to, “Check to include your own CSS file. You must create a file named custom.css in the Sociable plugin directory.” I got it to work with custom.css and not the other.
