I am using smart youtube on my wordpress blog and it works great. Only thing it does that I don’t want it to do is when I have a link to a youtube video in my post (not a video, just a link to one), and it’s in the first paragraph of my post (exceprt area), it copies the link url to the excerpt as text and floats it outside my excerpt text.
I have a custom excerpt in the post settings that doesn’t have the link, but it still puts it in there. I have it set to NOT parse http but it still echos the text for some reason.
On all other posts that have videos, it puts the thumbnail in the excerpt like it’s supposed to. On this particular post, I don’t want it to do anything! But for some reason it still echos the http url.
Is there any way to get it to use the custom excerpt instead of the auto exceprt?
