[Plugin: Smart 404] Greatly useful, needs some work

  • I just installed it on my new wp setup because I previously used it on my old blog.

1 Thing I do not like about the current version:
It searches all posts and pages for the url typed in, if it doesn’t find the keywords in any posts or pages, it shows a blank page. I’ve adjusted mine to default to the last post on the blog if a 404 should happen.

I don’t personally mind the current “empty” nothing found page (it does have the header, footer and sidebars), but I would prefer the “not found” page to be a normal search page for my theme. That means a search box that has the used keywords already typed in, so the user can just just click there and fix the typo.
