[Resolved] [Plugin: Slideshow] slideshow id strangeness

  • Your plugin works great! Except for one thing…

    I have 2 different pages.

I also have 2 different slideshows made, 1 for each page.
    ie – [slideshow_deploy id=comics] on Page 1 and [slideshow_deploy id=sketches] on Page 2.

They have different id names, the proper shortcodes are put in the HTML viewer on each separate page, and yet only one slideshow or the other wants to work (either ‘comics’ or ‘sketches’) at random. And when one slideshow does work, it’s on both pages. I’ve triple checked the page content using the HTML viewer, and it’s definitely Page 1 = ‘comics’ and Page 2 = ‘sketches’. The slideshow names definitely match the shortcodes.

    Any ideas?

WP 3.4.2 and Twenty Eleven 1.4

The piece of shortcode shown on the slideshow settings page shows you a shortcode with an ID in it. If you use anything but the ID, the plugin will pick a slideshow at random.

For instance: If your slideshow ‘comics’ has ID ‘1’ and ‘sketches’ has ID ‘2’, your shortcodes should look like this:

    [slideshow_deploy id=1] on page 1
    [slideshow_deploy id=2] on page 2

Calling a slideshow by its name will perhaps be available in version 2.2.0.

      D’OH!!!!

    thanks, eh? Lol
