    Hi,

    If you go to your slideshow’s settings, there should be a slides list where you can insert the uploaded images into your slideshow. Although I assume you’ve already tried this, it’s a step that is sometimes forgotten.

    Otherwise your theme may not call the <?php wp_footer(); ?> method right before the </body> tag, which is required for a lot of plugins to function correctly.

    Or you may have a javascript error on your page that is causing the slideshow script to fail.

    It would be great if you could supply me with the address of the website you’re working on.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi
    I solved the problem with the images it now shows up, i guess i forgot that i had to add them from the library also, but now i have another problem i use this slider on the widget as well and it is a different set of pictures, and i made a new slideshow for that one, but the pictures i have in the gallery pops up in the side widget as well and i have to refresh the site for it to have the normal widget pictures showing again
    any way i can solve this one ?
    this is a website i build for my workplace and i use a test server for it for now before it will be on its right host

    here is the URL : http://campusfosen.my-style.in/WP-bib/?page_id=81

    but here is the link, maybe you don’t see what i see when you click on the website pages
    but thanks for the help so far its Sunday here was not sure any would answere today:)

    OOh i forgot one more issue

    When i use this slider and i try to make the pictures “fade” it will just spin one picture in the slideshow but when i use it to have the pictures “slide” it works ok again anyway you know what i can do with that one?

    I’m glad that works now.

    The slideshow widget seems to show a random sidebar, if that is what you mean. Showing a random slideshow, or a slideshow you choose, is a setting you can set on the widgets page.

    So after one slide, the slideshow stops going to the next slide on the ‘fade’ setting? Could you show me that please?

    yupp i did set the slideshow in the widget on fade now
    it is not using more then one picture to fade it is like it is fading on itself

    I see, it must be a bug in the script. I’m going to look into it and I hope that I can provide you with a solution soon.

    ok i will set it on “slide” for now then after some issues and headache i think this plugin can be a very handy tool
    is there a way to add frames on the slider? or shadows or anything like that ?

    Plugin Author Stefan Boonstra

    @stefanboonstra

    Yes, you can change each slideshow’s CSS by setting its style to ‘custom’. In the editor that appears you can change all CSS.

    Great then i guess i have to learn coding then he he not my strong side but i have to give it a try then :)maybe you can show an ex? on a black frame with 2px border and shadow around the box? just a question 🙂

    maybe would be a cool thing to add on the plugin? some basic frames adding? and some shadows choices under the slider or like a glow box?

    @stefanboonstra

    If you want borders around the images, perhaps this thread interests you: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-slideshow-border-on-images. The question asked is similar to yours.

    Adding predefined borders and shadows to save users the trouble of getting into CSS would be a nice feature, indeed. Although I don’t think I’ll be able to implement this anytime soon, I’m going to put it on my to-do list.

    Lastly, I was able to find and fix the problem with your slideshow. If you update to version 2.1.7, everything should be alright.

    Great!
    Thank you for all the help with this !!!
    Super support!!
    Thanks a million 🙂
    I will be looking for that update with the extra on 🙂
