Ok, so once i realized the only reason this amazing plugin wasnt working was because my theme was forked, I got it working and upgraded to premium right away (thanks by the way!)

I have an issue with the slideshow when i edit the width and height in the shortcode. I am trying to add a thumbnail-less slideshow to the home page that will be a different W&H from the default galleries I am using in the rest of the site.

When I go to the home page and refresh it i can see it at the correct W&H however if i go to my galleries that are the default setting size and go back to the home page at any time after that the default size has been applied to the homepage slideshow until i refresh the page.

I am curious if there is a work around for this or some other setting i might be missing. Thank you for your time and amazing plugin!

  • The issue seems to be related to the way the developer handles the CSS. He passes all the default settings to in a query string to orbit-css.php which then dynamically generates the CSS.

I think the browser is caching that CSS when you visit the next gallery. When you click the browser’s refresh button, it regenerates that dynamic PHP file.

I had to quit using this plugin because of that issue. That technique isn’t a very efficient one so I’m looking for an alternative.
