[Plugin: Slideshow Gallery] Thumbnails not showing in admin (4 posts)

    My slideshow images are showing up on the front end, but in the backend where the slides are listed, the thumbnails are not showing up. I am using the latest version of the plugin, latest version of WordPress, latest version of timthumb.php and the cache folder is CHMOD to 755. Anyone have any ideas what is going on???

    Hi irelocation,

    If the thumbnails don't show in admin it means there is a problem with TimThumb.

    You can copy the SRC attribute of one of the images and open it in a new tab, TimThumb should show the cause of the problem then.

    Best regards,

    Hi irelocation,

    Did you change the timthumb.php 775 to 777? maybe it work.

    I solved this by changing the src. Go to timthumb.php line number 209 say:

    $this->myHost = preg_replace('/^www\./i', '', $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']);

    then make a custom path:

    `$my_new_url = sprintf(
    isset($_SERVER['HTTPS']) && $_SERVER['HTTPS'] != 'off' ? 'https' : 'http',
    $arr = explode('/',dirname($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']));
    $myNewSite_name = $arr['1'];
    $custom_path = $my_new_url.'/'.$myNewSite_name.'/';`

    then change line number 212:

    $this->src = preg_replace('/https?:\/\/(?:www\.)?' . $this->myHost . '/i', '', $this->src);
    $this->src = $custom_path.$this->src;

    My solution will explain what is the problem. tx
