[Resolved] [Plugin: Slickr Flickr] Why tag attribute mandatory?

  • This plugin is great, better than the Flickr Gallery plugin.
I love the amount of options and the layout, simply perfect…. BUT:

Why is it mandatory to put a tag attribute??

I want to be able to show ALL photos from a group, and right now that’s now possible because you HAVE to specify a tag.

IMHO this is nonsense, because other plugins allow you to show whole Flickr group photo streams.

I hope this is changes in some near upgrade.

Thank you for this great plugin and for your time.

    Hi,

You actually don’t have to specify a tag when getting photos from a group pool. (e.g when you specify search=”groups”)

However, the plugin does check for a tag when doing the default search of photos. I agree that this restriction of having to supply a tag is not necessary so I will remove it in the next release which will be on Saturday 16th October.

    Regards

    Russell

Great! Thanks for the quick reply, it works perfect.
Good to know you are updating.

    Cheers
