[Resolved] [Plugin: SimpleReach Slide] Settings changes not taken into account

  • I’ve been using the plugin for a few months now, and if the stats are to be believed, then it has helped generate more pageviews on my site. However:

    1. Changing the font color doesn’t work- it’s always orange
    2. The twitter and facebook buttons don’t always show the right counts, or any count at all (sometimes they even look ‘cut off’ as if the button had been sliced in two)
    3. The positioning doesn’t work. Whether I say 30px or 60px, it always appears in the same spot

Also, I don’t know if it’s a bug, but more often than not, I find that the suggested article isn’t a particularly relevant one.

Considering these issues and the slowly decreasing CTR, I’m probably going to try other similar plugins in the near future.

  • Please upgrade to the latest version of the plugin, 0.7.5, for fixes to these and other bugs.

Will do! I’ll come back if that doesn’t fully resolve the issue

I have the same issues as jshare above (with the latest ver 0.7.6)

    – My custom (green) link color is not taken into consideration. It still displays as the default orange
    – ‘The slide’ shows even though I have opted out of showing it.

There is another issue however, quotes and other special characters in the title of a post show as ascii (e.g. a quote as ‘)

I have the same issues! Help!
