[Plugin: SimpleMap] Is It Possible to Search by Zip and Category?

    Is it possible to search by two criteria with SimpleMap? I’d like to search by zip code and then by one other criteria. For instance, I’d like to be able to search by stores within a zip that are open 24 hours or have a pharmacy or have a photo lab. I don’t want the site visitor to have to filter through all results within the zip code to determine this.

    I didn’t see a way to have a drop down box for categories. I guess it would have to be hacked in. Is that the only way at this point?

    Hi Leichte,
    I’m curious if you added a drop down box for categories. I am needing to do this for a site I’m working on and am wondering how to go about it.

    Drop down categories are currently available to the version of the plugin available to premium support subscribers. I hope to get this featured pushed to the .org version in coming months.

    I am also wonderinng if this is in the .org version. I see filtering by checkbox for category and tag, but want to know if you have a drop down control available?

    I just pushed 2.4.4. There are a ton of updates here as it jumped from 2.2.5. See http://simplemap-plugin.com/changelog for details
