[Resolved] [Plugin: SimpleMap] Importing CSVs

  • I recently upgraded to the new Simplemap, so I exported the data as per the instructions. When I went to re-import the CSV file, it didn’t work. I split the file up so that there were less than 100 records in each CSV file and it still didn’t work. After attempting to upload the file, it goes to the following page which says:
“The first step is to confirm that we importing the data correctly. Please match the following sample data from your CSV to the correct data type by selecting an attributes form the downdown boxes.”
But below that message there is nothing else – no dropdown boxes, no data. Any idea what the problem could be?

I’m having this same problem, along with a custom theme problem. Let me know if you figure out a fix, and I’ll do the same. Thanks.

make your “simplemap” folder writable in the plugins directory.

Hi Jon. I sent you an email asking if you could send me your cav file. Did you get that?

I have identified and corrected the problem. Look for an update in your dashboard this week. Thanks!

Everything works fine except import / export … you must be a Premium member to get that? It gives me a permissions error and changing folders to 777 didn’t work

    Thank you
