  • Using .12 with WP 3.01 and BP 1.2.5.2. When I use the “Add Friend” from BuddyPress I get this message…

    Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /home/ncfmorg/public_html/wp-content/themes/bp-daily/_inc/ajax.php:353) in /home/ncfmorg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-twitter-connect/stc.php on line 33

    That line is
    session_start();

    maybe it needs a more fine grain open and close of session? leaving it open isn’t helping.

    STC needs sessions, and to do that, it has to send headers.

    If BuddyPress is creating output before the init action, then BuddyPress is broken.

    *If* /bp-daily/_inc/ajax.php is a duplicate of the BP-Default theme’s ajax.php, the function in question is an AJAX function and hooks into WP’s “wp_ajax_” action. I can’t see how BuddyPress might be sending output before the init action. I have not been aware of any such issue before.

    dsaxgton, do you get this problem when you revert to the BP-Default theme and disable any other plugins (other than BP & STC)?
