[Plugin: Simple Real Estate Pack] Google Maps Not Working

    Hello and Happy New Year!

    Thanks for a great plugin! I have a question re: the Google Map. I’ve noticed recently when I checked my website that the Google Map that goes along with Yelp function is not working at all. You can see an example here: http://residemorriscounty.com/local-information/chatham-borough/

    I contacted Yelp and increased the API, the map function still does not work. I reviewed the earlier post where the gentleman said that Google Maps was not working on his site and I do not have either one of the plugins mentioned on my site so that doesn’t apply. Do you have any suggestion on what is causing the map to not show up?

    And is there any any to change the size of the map to make it larger?

    Hi there,

    the page you mentioned above loads with JavaScript errors. It looks like there is a problem with a “Share This” plugin. Try deactivating that plugin and see if the map starts loading. You can set map dimensions in the plugins’ settings, under the Neighborhood section. Scroll to the bottom, there will be width and height settings of the map.

    Hi Max,

    Thanks for the rapid response. Just to clarify when you said the “Share This” plugin, did you mean the FB Social Plugin that appeared on the top of the page? If so, I had a chance to deactivate the plugin and it still did not work.

    In addition, I was able to visit the section where I could change the map dimensions and it appears that did not “take” (The framing where the map would be remained the same).

    Did I deactivate the proper plugin? Do you think I need to request a new API from Yelp?

    I don’t know if the “Share This” plugin is the same as FB Social – that’s the name that shows up in the JavaScript console. There are multiple JavaScript errors and any of them could be causing an issue.

    You don’t need a new API key from Yelp because its irrelevant.
