I am expert with old school web design, but know nothing about wordpress and similar programs. I discovered the Affordability Calculator however, and installed WP on my server. I managed to pare down the source code in the outputted webpage so I could drop the HAC into an existing page on my site.
The good news is, the form accepts the input information and creates the drop down results. It does this reliably, every time.
The problem is when I click on View Calculation Details. This works sometimes but not often. I can't seem to create a pattern. I've flushed out cookies, I've open and closed IE, I've redone the code a dozen times. In every situation the popup works sometimes and not others. I even tried checking and unchecking the pop up blocker in IE.
For the record, I am using IE8 with the default security and cookie settings on WinXP Pro.
I love this calculator, but can't go 'live' with it until I can be sure its working reliably. Any help much appreciated for an old HTML coder from the days when Netscape Navigator ruled 90% of the market and Windows 3.1 was all the rage!
