    Hello,
I installed successfully and created another sidebar. However, it merely substituted my new content into the sidebar that came with my theme.

My theme has a right hand sidebar in the default template. I wanted to use the Full Width template and create a custom sidebar on the left side. I want to use it for vertical navigation for the individual parent nav categories.

This is the current look of the default template.

Can you help explain the steps I need to take to locate the sidebar on the left side of the full width template?

    I appreciate your thoughts.

    Hello,

This plugin is simply meant to allow for showing different content on different pages within the existing sidebar locations — it can’t create new sidebar locations.

The sidebar locations are typically a part of the theme and if an option isn’t built in for moving the sidebar, it would require a bit of custom development to get what you want. You might try asking the author of the theme if they have a way to add a sidebar to the left.

    Thanks. No wonder.

    I appreciate your prompt help.
