Support » Plugin: Simple Page Ordering » [Plugin: Simple Page Ordering] Non-hierarchical post types support

  • I just installed this plugin, and it’s great — truly simple an non-obtrusive. I just have one question.

I haven’t been able to get this to work on Custom Posts types that aren’t hierarchical. I see this in the changelog for 1.0:
“* Support for ordering non-hierarchical post types that have “page-attributes” support”

This describes exactly the type of post type I’m trying to use this for, but even with “page-attributes” support (which I do have enabled), the drag-and-drop only starts working if I set ‘hierarchical’ to true (which I really don’t want to have to do for this post type).

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

You should see an option when viewing non-hierarchical post types to “Sort by Order” (above the posts list table). You must select this before sorting.
