[Resolved] [Plugin: Simple Google Connect] Admin notice visible to all roles

  • Hi,

    Just noticed that the message “Simple Google Connect needs configuration information on its settings page” including (forbidden) link to settings page is visible even to Subscribers.

    Editing line 48 in sgc-base.php to something like:

    if ((empty($options['app_secret']) || empty($options['appid'])) && current_user_can('manage_options')) {

    seems to take care or this effectively.

    Hope this (or something similar) can be integrated into the next release 🙂

    That would be a valid option, but not a high priority issue since one would expect you to go and configure the plugin immediately after activating it.

    Well, strictly speaking then, the reminder notice is not really needed at all 😉
