    Hello Otto.
I sent you an email, but did not get a response. I hope you can help me with my problem please.

I installed and wish to run the comments SFC plugin. I also made changes to comments.php as you instruct on your site. However, it still is not working but displays correctly. I don’t get an error message or anything, it just doesn’t connect.

My site is myhappypost.com please check out a blog entry and let me know what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks for your help.

    Marc

You are attempting to use a text widget in the sidebar with manual code that you copy-pasta’d from Facebook, for a like button.

SFC is not compatible with *any* other Facebook codes. Trying to use more than one Facebook thing on the page makes them interfere with one another. This was why I developed SFC in the first place, to have a single place for all code so that it could work without interference.

Remove that text widget with the like code from the sidebar.

If you want to use similar compatible code, then switch to the newer version of the plugin, which uses Facebook’s new code methods and may be more compatible: http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/simple-facebook-connect/branches/new-sfc/
