  • Hi!

    Great plugin I really appreciate your work.

    Problem in short: wptexturize filter removed made changes to output generated by Ad Injection plugin and Wp Super Cache.

    My problem was this: I had an old plugin Facebook Page Publish which stopped working so I tried your plugin for publishing. I tested the manual posting to Facebook and it was working, I didn’t test the automatic one.

    Issue: blank page using WP Super Cache. Actually it was loading once, then blank page, error 500 etc.

    Solution: I disabled WP Super Cache, but now I see another issue. The design is off, Ad Injection not working properly.

    Issue: I managed to track the error to your plugin by just disabling it (I had just installed it the night before, so I assumed it could be the culprit).

    From HTML source code: <!–mfunc adshow_display_ad_file_v2(array(‘ad_random_1.txt’), array(100), array(‘align’ => ‘center’, ‘clear’ => ‘both’, ‘margin_top’ => ”, ‘margin_bottom’ => ”, ‘padding_top’ => ”, ‘padding_bottom’ => ”), array(), array()) –>

    All quotes were replaced.

    Solution: Skimmed trough your code and I found it was working fine with these lines commented sfc-base:447:
    // filter the excerpt or content, but without texturizing
    if ( empty($post->post_excerpt) ) {
    //remove_filter( the_content, wptexturize );
    $text = apply_filters(the_content, $text);
    //add_filter( the_content, wptexturize );
    } else {
    //remove_filter( the_excerpt, wptexturize );
    $text = apply_filters(the_excerpt, $text);
    //add_filter( the_excerpt, wptexturize );

    So I guess this is a temporary solution as I don’t know how/where it will affect your code, but it fixes my issue and I tested with manual/automatic posting and it works.

    Any comments?
