[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] HELP ! Tried to update SFC plugin, my blog is broken

    Hi,

    I tried to update the SFC plugin, i think i didn’t turned off the previous version of the plugin before doing the update and now my blog is broken and is only showing “ndisponibilité temporaire pour cause de maintenance. Veuillez revenir dans un instant.”

    I need quick help please, i don’t know what to do…thanks for any help !

    That has nothing to do with the SFC plugin. Only thing that would happen from not turning off the previous version is some harmless one-time error messages when you went to the Plugins screen.

    However, if any upgrade of any plugin ever goes wrong, a .maintenance file may be left behind. Delete that file to get the site back up. This is not an error specific to any plugin, it’s a generic WordPress error when it can’t complete an upgrade of a plugin or theme.
