Using base plugin + SFC Comments + SFC Publish

After posting comment when logged in via Facebook - getting WSOD on wp-comments-post.php - php error log reveals this:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'FacebookRestClientException' with message 'Session key invalid or no longer valid' in /.../wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/facebook-platform/facebookapi_php5_restlib.php:3112

thrown in /.../wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/facebook-platform/facebookapi_php5_restlib.php on line 3112

    Any ideas?

Prior to this, I was having issues with being able to login at all. After agreeing in the popup, the process stalled at this URL:

If I closed the window and returned to the site and refreshed, I would no longer see the Facebook button above the comment form - but a default avatar and Hi You are connected... (missing the name).

I disabled SFC-Login and SFC-Register and then was able to login successfully and see my name and avatar.

Thanks Otto for a great set of plugins. First time I've ever had a problem : )

Update: I am still seeing this login behavior:

Click Connect w Facebook > Pop Up > Login to Facebook > Grant Permission > Press Allow > WSOD at:

Which is not producing any errors in the log.

Close window, return to post, manually refresh and get generic avatar with missing name. Try and logout, seems like it works but generic avatar still appears.

"Session key invalid" generally means that you have auto-publish turned on, but failed to Save the settings page after granting the permissions.

Go to the SFC Settings page and hit the Save button.

    Hi Otto,

I'm dying and I need your help.

please see any old post page of mine, like this one on my wordpress blog

As you can see at the bottom, infinite loop of "Facebook Comments"

It crashes all bu the most robust browsers and is a general drag-and-a-half.

I installed SFC and so forth but had this from the start. I have uninstalled, deleted, reinstalled deactivated and reactivated several times. I've even deleted the plugin folder from the root directory before reinstalling it. I am not tech savvy despite my pretending to be and I need your help.

What should I do and can you help me?

@Otto - thanks for the reply. I do not have auto-publish turned on and cannot recall what the setting was upon installation. Was it on and then I turned it off? Not sure.

Nevertheless, I'll see if I can reproduce the error.

@JG - You should start a new topic as your problem is unrelated to mine, albeit strange.
