• This plugin is outstanding. Only problem I have with it is when using WPTouch for generating a mobile platform for a few of my websites, the SFC is either stretching my WPTouch layout too wide (Android) or SFC is getting cutoff on others (Windows Mobile). Other than that the functionality of the plugin is functional. Some mobile usability consideration would help bring this plugin into the emerging mobile browser dominated era that is unfolding at this time.

I saw in the change log that this plugin did at one time allow for percentage based widths, but this feature was removed due to some unresolved bugs that were crashing the plugin. I think this approach should be readdressed to allow for more mobile users to utilize FB on their mobile device enabled WordPress websites.

    Hi,

The issue is on the Facebook Comments functionality side – a commenting system created by Facebook has simply some limitations and it is nothing to do with the plugin itself.

From reading the documentation about the Facebook “Social Plugin” for comments I know that it is suppose to be capable of detecting the browser agent and converting to a mobile format with fluid widths when a mobile browser agent is detected or if mobile=true is called in the comments code. So why then does this Facebook comment plugin not utilize this aspect of the Facebook Social Plugin? I notice that this is a widespread problem with many of the Facebook plugins available for WordPress. Has anyone discovered or developed an effective solution for this issue?

That sounds interesting. Thank you for pointing this out. I will definitively look into this and try to incorporate it into the new version of the script.
