  • The note about the button not being encrypted is just a warning — the button should still work and send you to Paypal’s site for purchase. Have you filled out the SCABN settings page (log in as admin and it is in the dashboard)?

The buttons do take me to Paypal’s site but I am unable to proceed as I elected to only allow encrypted data to come into my PayPal account for payments. I have updated the SCABN settings page. I did not find corresponding Paypal data for all the optional fields listed under the encrypted buttons section.

You do need everything in the “Optional Settings for Encrypted Buttons with Paypal” filled out for the encrypted buttons to work.

On most systems, “Full filesystem path for openssl comman” is /usr/bin/openssl

The Paypal instructions for encrypted buttons should tell you how to generate / download the Certificate, Key and Paypal’s Public Certificate files. Same them to the server and configure SCABN to look at them.

What fields are you not sure how to fill out?
