I do plan on making shortcodes and template tags for the basics — displaying a user’s badge count and displaying a specific badge’s info — though I haven’t yet decided whether they will be in the core plugin or relegated to secondary plugins. I’m not quite sure how I would go about it just yet, but I think it would be a fun idea. It’s definitely on my radar, though likely as another plugin rather than in the core. * > Will I be able to create unique automated events? i.e. referencing the leaderboard > and automatically giving a medal to the player in 1st place. * My plan right now is to make automated events really easy to create, though the core set will be a bit limited. Things like “if user has posted” “greater than”“ 100 times” will be the kind of automatic events possible to start out. But as soon as that system’s in place it will be filterable by other plugins (I have one or two I’d like to add support for myself) along with instructions for adding custom events that others might not have thought of.
