    Hi Txanny,

Thanks so much for this plugin. I had been trying to use the plugins thumbnailsforexcepts and category-posts together to get exactly what you have offered in this one.

I have one request if possible. I would like the post title to appear above the excerpt only and not across the image and excerpt as it does now.

I tried modifying placement of the call for the post title and with css was able to get what I wanted. It was wonderful until I took a look at it in IE. There was a drop in the text (about one line) lower than the image. I would much rather not to have to change your code.

Thanks again for a wonderful plugin.

    Hi,

Well, the output design makes really difficult to show it as you want. The widget displays the title and date in one paragraph and the content (thumbnail and excerpt in other). So I cannot figure how to get what you want without hacking the code.

I will think about how it can be done without changing the code so much to maintain compatibility with the current styles.

You can always use the IE CSS hack to format your site in a way it looks the same on any browser.

Here: http://www.webdevout.net/css-hacks you can find more info.

    Cheers!

@baalam thanks for the link, it’s really useful.

I think is not a browser problem. Is just that the theme sets some styles for widgets and the sample css file included in sideposts uses the WordPress default styles. Have to create a plugin style.css file that uses the theme styles.
