# [Plugin: SideOffer] Not at Home

 * First let me thank you for this plugin!
 * I too was planning to NOT have it display on the home page, and I tried the code
   you referred to before:
 * **if (is_home()) remove_action(‘wp_footer’,’hd_sideoffer’);**
 * but that didn’t work. It might be that I am using a genesis framework child theme–
   not sure if the functions.php code above is compatible or not. If you have an
   alternate functions snippet solution it would be appreciated.

 * Any luck figuring how to get SideOffer off the home page?
 * I don’t think its a conditional statement problem, since
 * `remove_action('wp_footer','hd_sideoffer');`
 * doesn’t remove sideoffer from any page.
