Hi im using “Peter’s login redirect” plugin to redirect certain users who log-in to specific pages on my website. This plugin works great when used on the standard login /wp-login.php link.
But when users login using the “Sidebar login” plugin they all get redirected to the home page. “Peter’s login redirect” plugin gets ignored. Is it possible to disable “Sidebar login” to stop redirecting and inherit the “Peter login redirect” for users?
If you go to the settings page for Peter’s redirect plugin, at the bottom of the page are some options to “customize plugin settings”. The third option starting with: “Use external redirect file….” should be set to Yes. Take note of the URL mentioned: ‘http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/peters-login-redirect/wplogin_redirect_control.php’ After changing yoursite.com to your URl, paste this into the Login redirect: form on the sidebar login options page.
This worked as a charm for me, hope it does for you as well.
