[Plugin: SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam] WP-Members Registration Form Integration

  • Hello! I love your Captcha plugin! It’s great. It works wonderfully.

I am wondering how I can integrate the SI Captcha plugin with the WP-Members plugin, specifically with the registration form.

Is there a snippet of code I can paste into the WP-Members registration (wp-members-register.php) page?

I have no idea. I am not familiar with the inner workings of WP-Members. My time is very limited so I do not do custom work.

A general answer: is is more complicated than a snippet of code.
    The captcha is two step:

    step 1
show the captcha and set a code to be remembered.

    step 2
when the form is posted, check the captcha; pass, or fail and show errors.

Step 2 is the hardest part to integrate.
There are examples of this if you look at the code of my plugin.

Perhaps you could ask the author of WP-Members to assist. If you figure it out, I may be able to add the code.

Mike, thank you for your time. Much appreciated. I understood, after I posted my question, that it would take more work on your part and actually the wp-members plugin writer is really the responsible party for getting nice captcha’s (like yours) integrated. …The good thing is, this post is showing up in the wp-members forums because of the keywords/tags/title. So, hopefully they will take a look at this thread too and contribute. …I just spent a few hours localizing their plugin, so I am familiar with the code. But, based on experience with integrating other captcha’s with other programs, I acknowledge that it is “easier said than done.” …Hopefully we will see some nice integration on this one.
