    Bump.

    I’ve tried using image="image/jpg" but it doesn’t seem to be working. Does anyone know if this *should* work? Or maybe the standard jwplayer settings aren’t all supported in SU??

    help.
    thnx,

    Hi

    Use next shortcode
    [media url="video.flv" width="600" height="400" jwplayer="image=thumbnail.jpg"]

    * added in 3.6.0

    All settings supported through jwplayer=”” parameter. You must use it in “url-format”. For example:
    [media url="video.flv" jwplayer="controlbar=bottom&autostart=true"]

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I unfortunately gave up on SU because I couldn’t get this part working (before your post), and also because it was causing conflicts with any other shortcode I tried to use 🙁
    But now I’m having other difficulties with the new YouTube tech.
    This might not be the right plugin for my current project, but I will still def keep it on hand for future ones..

    thanks again for the plugin and the extra info!
    best,

    Would be great to include this feature in the pop-up from Tiny MCE; this because maybe new users will not understand the “trick”.

    However thank you for the hint!
