    Hi Vladimir,

I got a couple of urgent emails from my web hosting company early this morning after I had upgraded to Version 2.5.0 of Shortcodes Ultimate. Here’s the first email:

System administration was forced to suspend your site in an emergency to prevent server and system overloads. Your WordPress install appears to be severely broken. There were (50,266) recursive requests from the server itself causing a severe load on the server.

    Here’s the second email:

I was able to determine that it was a missing CSS style sheet from your theme that was causing all of the recursive hits. I have created a blank file with the name trying to be include so the loop would stop:

    /wp-content/themes/genesis/shortcodes-ultimate.css

Your site has been un-suspended. We still recommend taking a full review of your site to ensure this type of activity doesn’t come back.

Is Shortcodes Ultimate missing a CSS file as of Version 2.5.0? I’ve now upgraded to Version 2.5.3, but I don’t know if I still need the empty CSS file my hosting company created to solve the problem. I wasn’t even aware there was a problem, because I tested Shortcodes Ultimate after upgrading to Version 2.5.0, and it seemed to be working perfectly.

Can you shed some light on this, Vladimir?

    Thanks very much,

    Fred

P.P.S. I haven’t disabled any CSS styles in the plugin’s settings panel. The only non-default setting I’m using is “Disable custom formatting.” I am using quite a bit of Custom CSS.

    Hi Fred!
In version 2.5.3 problem completely solved.
This is my mistake, and this is only in version 2.5.0

And you can delete this file now.

Thank you, Vladimir! You’re the best, my friend, the best!! I’ll let my hosting company know the problem is solved, and I’ll delete the extra CSS file. -Fred
