Support » Plugin: Shortcode Exec PHP » [Plugin: Shortcode Exec PHP] Feature request – option to disable the second editor

I don’t see a use for the second editor “add” – it’s possible to save a script with a chosen name in the first one too, right? It’s basically the same thing. I’ll just comment that section out in the plugin’s source files, but I think there should be an option to disable it in the next version.

Also, it would be handy to mention the HTML embedding tags below the shortcode data access samples as well.

Oh, and why not have a description tooltip of the “autop” (or maybe make it a link to the corresponding wordpress manual page – I suspect it’s the WordPress function which automatically adds paragraphs).

  • Now I see that the first editor renames the loaded shortcode script when saving instead of saving the script as a separate shortcode 🙁 that (loading/saving) functionality would remove the necessity for the second script editor (the “add new shortcode” form with the ID attribute “scep-new”).

I think the way it works now is very transparent.
And besides that a change could confuse a lot of existing users.
