[Plugin: Shibboleth] restrict registration based on shib attribute

    I need to restrict registration on a multisite WP based on user “status”. Shibboleth authentication fetch attributes (ldap attributes from the IDP) , so I was expecting that I could somehow tell WP to allow staff and faculty users to register, but disable student registration, it could be based on edupersonAffilation for example .
    How can I restrict user registration based on their shibboleth attributes “profile” ?
