@Ron Rennick i know your the man to answer these for me and thank you for the help in the past.

[27-Jun-2012 13:43:27 UTC] PHP Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/blogline/public_html/wp-content/db.php on line 327

But i did some digging and i see my SQL out the box only allow for 151

Now the question how meany should i set this to in my.cnf

    set-variable = max_connections=1500
    set-variable = max_user_connections=300

Now these was given to my but i just don't like to copy and paste them to my.cnf.

Please give me a idea of what i should use and why.

Just some feed back on the server set up

DB set total is 75GB +- and runs on a 15SAS drive and yes the server has 8 cores and 32gb of ram and we run BlogLines.co.za

Increase the memory allocation for MySQL - http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/server-system-variables.html

The main things to increase first are the memory allocation for storing indexes & the result sets of queries.
