[Plugin: SexyBookmarks] Is it becoming NotsoSexy Spammarks
-
Depending on which plugin you use to show tweets on your WP you will now find your tweets ending with From Shareholic
Looking into it a bit closer I see the plugin is now calling for js scripts from the shareholic web site
http://www.shareaholic.com//media/js/jquery.shareaholic-publishers-api.min.jsI always become concerned when this practice is adopted because we have no control over what these scripts will end up doing, or if there might be penalties from search engines.
Am I over reacting, maybe so, but I see very little progress with this plugin for the user over the course of the recent upgrades, just this questionable coding sneaking in.
