    Hi there.

Is there any way to move the location of the settings for this plugin out of the main WordPress Plugins menu?

I run a large multisite and our members do not have access to the the main WordPress Plugins menu.

I love this plugin and would love to use it, but our members have no way to access the settings…

How can we move the settings for this plugin to the main WordPress Settings menu? – this is where the most of our other installed plugin settings show by default. 🙂

I am not sure why your members would need to access the adming settings of the plugin? The settings of this plugin is for the admin of the site. What am I missing?

Hi there! thank so much for the quick response.

We have a large WordPress multisite (1000+ sites) where each user is the admin of their own sub-site (but not administrators of the multisite). We do not allow individual site admins to add, remove, or edit the available plugins. That is handled at the super-admin level of the multisite.

This is not an issue for most plugins because the settings for them are under the main settings menu (which individual site admins do have access) or the plugin creates is own menu item. But this plugin, places the settings under the plugins menu, so individual site admins cannot access the settings.

Does that help? And is there a way to change this?

    Thanks again!

This plugin also creates the settings menu under the WordPress Settings menu (where most of the other plugins add their menu too).

Not sure why on your site it has it under the plugins menu. That is a little weird.

It uses the following function to add the menu:

If you read the codex here you will see that the function is the correct one to use for adding the settings link under the main wordpress settings menu:

Have you or a developer modified the code of the plugin on your site?
