    Thanks for the hint, but I’ve already had that box checked for a good 12 months. The pages themselves, when I click the source code has no trace of “noindex” or the “noindex, follow” tag.

    Any suggestions?

    @alxmiller
    The same thing happens to me too, I don’t have “noindex” and “noindex, follow” tag in my source code of my pages but I don’t have any issue so I don’t know why you have. I hope the dev of the plugin will see this and help you with your problem.

    Does this really not work? I’m having a nightmare with google right now and I need to know if using this plugins noindex/nofollow features are a waste of time.

    For example I had Date-based archives checked off for noindex and yet google shows in URL Parameters things like day_20100415 and month_200810

    Why is google seeing such pages?

    @muze75
    If google has done indexing before you put the right adjustments it’s normal to still sho these results. You must go in the webmaster tool of google and make a URL request to remove.

    Instead I went ahead and put ‘No URLs’ for those URL parameters. I really don’t use any of those types of archive pages. My index page and my category pages are all I really need.
