# [Plugin: Search Meter] Memory Use?

 * This looks really excellent, but how much of a memory churn is it? I’m trying
   to be really selective about how many plugins I’ve got. If I only activate this
   from time to time, will it still churn at all if deactivated?

 * It doesn’t use a lot of memory. It does use some disk space to save the searches,
   but not much compared to the average blog.
 * If you reset the statistics before deactivating then it won’t use up any memory
   and pretty much no disk space.
