Support » Plugins » [Plugin: Search Light] Creating your own theme? Include some stuff!

  • DKowalski, again thank you for this awsome search result. I have only one thing to ask.

Can you edit the installation page and tell people with there own theme need to add three lines?

For those (like me) creating there own theme, link the stylesheet/jQuery and Ajax file in your header!

Was scratching my head why the addon wouldn’t load up in my own created theme :P.

Now I have it up and running doing fine.

  • When building a WordPress theme, you should include the hooks listed on this page.

Since plugins use this functionality to register CSS and JS-files, chances are pretty high that you will run into trouble with quite a lot of WP plugins when using them with your new theme.

Since this functionality is related to WordPress theme development and not the development of a theme for the Search Light dropdown, this information should not be replicated within the installation page.
