 * Hi, I’m searching for a plugin for wordpress that will popup and show the location
of a visitor. I have seen a number of sites that when you go to them, a popup
jumps up saying something like “Someone from Sydney is also viewing this page
or site etc”. I think it would be a great traffic generator as well as a good
way to get people to dig deeper into my site when they know there is competition.
 * Any ideas on Plugins that will do that?

 * This one seems to have the capability you are looking for:

 * Close but I’m really not wanting a whole page dedicated to it. I want a simple
   popup to show something like.
 * ” A visitor from Sydney is looking at the wedding photography packages page ”
 * So would need to geolocate and know the page and randomly pop or a notice.
    there
are a few plugins for Woo but they require a transaction to have occurred rather
   than just a page visited.
 * Its a big ask I know but the benefits will be to keep people on my page longer
   and encourage exploration.

 * It looks like you can add things anywhere with shortcodes, widgets in the sidebar,
or add it to a page, the information would still show what you are looking for
unless you feel the popup aspect is key to visitors feeling the need to explore?
