Wildcards on whitelisted URLs? (4 posts)

    Hi, Scott

There was a similar question about blacklisted items, but did not really meet my needs.

So I have a PODS driven product catalogue under url http://www.mysite.com/products

Is it possible to configure Search Engine to index only http://www.mysite.com/products/* - all links that are under /products?
All the products are on detail pages like http://www.mysite.com/products/product1, so these I want to index and show in search results.
    Thank you.

You are be able to do this by whitelisting the "/products/" URL in the whitelist options when you setup your index.

    Thanks for answer.

I have tried whitelisting both /products/ and http://www.mysite.com/products/ URLs, however, with such configuration the Search Engine only finds 1 link every time.

This plugin currently doesn't index starting from a non-root URL, and I think that's the issue here, it picks up the home page but it doesn't match the whitelist. I won't have much time to work on that bug until after Pods 2.0 development wraps up. Sorry for the inconvenience, none of my other plugins are funded and that prevents my from being able to focus on them right now.
