# Plugin: Search Custom Fields

 * Many know about the [old hack](http://wiki.wordpress.org/SearchMetaPostData),
   and the [somewhat newer one](http://randomfrequency.net/wordpress/search-meta/),
   but drudging through the WordPress source just so you can search custom fields
   on your blog has been a drag.
 * Well, the drag is over.

    I’ve only tried the “hidden element” variable and the “radio button” variable.
   Both worked like a charm. I’ll play some more after work tonight. Looks like 
   another great plugin in the works.

 * LK, right now with the plugin there is no way to do that. But it’s a good suggestion
   for an update.

 * That’s what I figured. I tried building on your code to search multiple custom
   fields but was unsuccessful. We are putting together a resource directory that
   has two custom fields – services and eligibility. Any help you could give would
   be greatly appreciated!
